Dandruff! Could there be anything more annoying? This little pest takes all the beauty of your hair and covers your shoulders with white, easy to see powder. You don’t like the fact that it neither looks aesthetically nor is it healthy. So how can you get over dandruff quickly ?

The first thing you should do is make sure that you are not using a lot of chemical hair products, which instead of helping your scalp make things worse.

1. Fight dandruff with aloe vera and lemon

This simple method is by far one of the most effective. But remember: in order for dandruff to completely disappear from your scalp, you need to persistently fight it. See how  aloe vera and lemon can help you:

Aloe
  • Aloe has antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it ideal for getting rid of problematic dandruff. To do this, reach for a tablespoon of aloe vera gel – in other words, a transparent liquid from the inside of the plant. 20 grams is enough.
  • Once you have this liquid, start massaging it into your dry hair. Try to cover your scalp with it to keep it moist.
  • Please be patient: wait 15 minutes.
  • Wash your hair as usual using a gentle shampoo.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice for your next massage. Why should you apply lemon juice? First of all, because it fights dandruff and cares for the scalp very well. When you perform a gentle massage and the juice spreads well over your skin, rinse it with warm water.
  • Never use hot water as it is very damaging to your hair!

2. Avocado and rosemary in the fight against dandruff

Do you have avocados at home? This is good, because you only need two more rosemary sprigs to prepare an effective remedy for troublesome dandruff. Avocado is  an excellent moisturizer, rich in essential oils that will effectively heal your scalp.

  • Make a paste of half the avocado. Place the fruit in a bowl and use a spoon to make a paste.
  • Make an infusion of rosemary. Boil 200 ml of water and add two sprigs of rosemary to it. When it starts to boil, set aside the brew, then mix it with the avocado paste.
  • Try to get a paste whose ingredients are well mixed together.
  • Apply it to dry hair. Give your scalp a 15-minute massage, leaving the mixture on your scalp.
  • Rinse your hair and scalp with warm water. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo or conditioner.

3. Baking soda as a treatment for dandruff

You probably already know the many great benefits of using baking soda. This essential product should always be in your home as it is very helpful, even when it comes to fighting dandruff! In this case, you need to use the healing properties of baking soda once a week.

4. Vinegar and mint in the fight against dandruff

A simple and effective method. Mint is another excellent medicinal plant that fights bacteria, fungi, and other pollutants that appear on the skin, including the scalp. In combination with white vinegar, it allows you to get rid of dandruff very quickly.

Vinegar and mint
  • At the very beginning, dilute a tablespoon of vinegar (20 ml) in a glass of water.
  • Heat it up and add 5 mint leaves. Stir and set aside.
  • When the infusion is warm, massage it into wet hair – as for the methods described above.
