Rice milk supports the burning of calories because it belongs to the group of plant drinks with a low content of saturated fat, thanks to which it has a positive effect on the digestive process and releases energy, which in turn accelerates the burning of fats.

According to a study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition , vitamin D in rice milk helps you lose weight gradually. It was found that milk rich in calcium and vitamin D helps to reduce fat deposition. And how not to drink it?

Remember, however, that rice milk, compared to cow’s milk, does not contain a large amount of protein – this is the only disadvantage of this drink. An ideal solution may be to supplement the breakfast based on rice milk with the appropriate dose of dried fruits, for example nuts. Ingredients for 1 liter of rice milk

  • 1 cup of brown or whole grain rice
  • 8 glasses of water
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
  • 4 tablespoons of honey

Preparation of rice milk

  • It’s nothing hard! We start by boiling the water. When it comes to a boil, throw in a glass of rice. We recommend whole grain rice as it is much healthier and easier to digest.
  • Turn down the heat and cover the rice for about 2 hours. Then turn off the fire and set aside to cool.
  • What next? Blend the entire contents of the pot with a blender until a delicate texture of the cream is obtained. Try to mix thoroughly and for a long time, adding sunflower oil and honey. The creamier the milk is, the better.

  • Some people like to add a dash of cinnamon when cooking. However, the choice of additives is left to individual taste preferences. The recipe given by us is the most natural possible, which is why we chose healthy and easy to digest whole grain rice.
  • We store rice milk in glass, hermetically sealed vessels – thanks to which it will keep freshness for a long time. However, we advise you to consume them within 2-3 days. The ideal dose is two glasses a day, so a liter of milk will be enough for 2 days.

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 150 g of round rice
  • 370 g of condensed milk
  • 200 g of cream
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Lemon skin

Preparation:

  1. Pour the milk into a large pot and put it on the fire.
  2. Add cinnamon stick, condensed milk and lemon zest to the milk and stir until boiled.
  3. Just before boiling, remove the cinnamon stick and lemon zest, then – after boiling – reduce the heat and add the rice. Continue cooking, stirring constantly.
  4. 15 seconds before the end of cooking, add the cream.
  5. Put the finished dessert in the fridge for an hour (optional). Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
