The best recipes for vegan treats

The main factor in choosing these recipes is their appetizing quality. As you will see, you don’t need eggs, milk, butter or any other animal products to prepare them , so you can have a vegan biscuit – and eat it!

1. Vegan cheesecake

In this recipe, we use vegan cheese or soy yoghurt instead of dairy. It tastes really great!

Well you could say it’s more of a yoghurt cake as the cheese has been replaced with soy yogurt. Of course, you can make your own vegan cheese and use it in your recipe.

Ingredients

  • 200 ml of plant milk
  • 350 ml of soy yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of agar-agar powder
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 12 crackers
  • 2 tablespoons of margarine
  • Jam (flavor to choose from)

Preparation

  • First, prepare the bottom. To do this, crush the crackers with a rolling pin or a food processor and set aside.
  • Then melt the margarine in the microwave, pour over the dough crumbs and mix well.
  • Brush the cake tin with margarine and roll the cookie / margarine mix into it to form the bottom.
  • Dissolve the agar-agar in cold milk, then bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Add yogurt and lemon juice and beat until smooth.
  • Pour the vegan mixture onto the bottom of the cake and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
  • Finally, brush the dough with jam and put it back in the fridge. Voila!

2. Vegan goodies: cupcakes

Use extra virgin olive oil to replace the butter in vegan cupcakes.

In this recipe, we will use fruit and almond milk to create fluffy cupcakes. Of course, you can add chocolate chips or raisins if you want.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of almond milk
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 ½ cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • 60 ml of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence (optional)
  • ½ cup of chocolate chips or raisins (optional)

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  • Mix the flour and baking soda, sift into a bowl and set aside.
  • Blend the almond milk and bananas.
  • Add the milk and banana mass to the bowl of flour and mix everything.
  • Add oil, sugar and vanilla essence then mix until smooth.
  • Pour the dough into a greased muffin pan, no more than 2/3 full.
  • If desired, add chocolate chips or raisins.
  • Bake the muffins for about 20 minutes.

3. Strawberry oat cookies, delicious vegan treats

Oatmeal cookies are a very classic snack.

This Oat Strawberry Cookie Recipe is another one of our recipes. They are very easy to make and simply delicious. You have to try them out!

Ingredients

  • 60 g of oatmeal
  • ½ banana
  • 5 large strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Preparation

  • First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Mash the banana in a bowl and mix it with the peanut butter.
  • Add honey.
  • Add the oatmeal and mix the dough.
  • Then dice the strawberries and add to the mass.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Make small balls of dough and flatten them slightly on a non-stick surface.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.

4. Apple pie

This apple pie with pears is perfect for children. It is very nutritious and contains no refined sugar.

Our last item in this article is apple pie with a crispy dough and a juicy filling. The smell from the oven will make you dizzy.

Ingredients for the dough

  • 1 cup of whole grain flour
  • ½ cup of flour
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup of lukewarm water
  • ½ teaspoon of salt

Ingredients for the filling

  • 4 apples
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • Brown sugar to sprinkle on (optional)
  • Almond milk (optional, as much as you need)

Preparation of dough

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Then mix the dry ingredients and sift them through a strainer.
  • Add the olive oil and mix the dough with your hands to get a grainy mass.
  • Add water and keep kneading until a soft mass is formed.
  • Divide the form into two parts.
  • Brush the baking tin with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  • Roll out the dough and put it into the mold.

Filling

  • First, wash, peel and cut the apples into small cubes.
  • Then add cinnamon, sugar and flour to the apples and mix everything.

Apple pie

  • Transfer the filling to the bottom.
  • Roll out the other half of the dough you prepared earlier and cover the dough with it.
  • You can also cut the dough into strips and make a simple pattern.
  • Brush the dough with almond milk and then sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Bake for about 50 minutes, until the dough is crispy and golden.
